Harnessing the Power of Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology is a key driving element to making NanoCure Protective Coatings as effective and cutting-edge as they are. By forming a molecular bond with a vehicle’s surface, nanotechnology enables our protectants are able to more effectively battle the elements that can harm its appearance. We employ such innovation into our offerings for the auto, RV, powersports and marine markets we serve.

Question: What is Nanotechnology?

Answer: Nanotechnology is the study and use of structures between 1 nanometer and 100 nanometers in size. For example, it would take 100,000 nanometers to equal the thickness of a single sheet of paper.

History

Innovation and Evolution

Though the earliest form of nanotechnology dates back to the 1850’s, an influx of companies focusing on nanotechnology wouldn’t develop for well over a century. Up until the 1960’s lead-based paint, requiring many coats to be effective, was widely used by the auto industry.

It was a heavy enough paint to maintain its finish in the midst of environmental factors and accidental hazards. But lead-based paint was also found to be a major health risk, and by the 1980’s, the auto industry universally switched to a lighter-weight, acrylic based paint, which required fewer coats to look great on cars.

That switch was a major factor in the rise of auto appearance protection programs, and as a result, nanotechnology being used in chemical production. The acrylic paint was a safer, lighter alternative to the lead-based type but it wasn’t as able to withstand scratches as well either.

How We Use It

Tiny Technology For Massive Protection

Nanotechnology fills uneven areas of hard, porous surfaces, molded plastic, painted metal, end caps, black trim molding and windshield surface to create a weather- and hazard-resistant shield. For a vehicle’s interior, nanotechnology helps fill uneven areas in leather and vinyl to prevent fading and staining with permanent UV protection. Powered by nanotechnology, NanoCure with Nanoxide protectants feature out proprietary formulations engineered to produce the highest-quality results.

Benefits

Cutting Edge Technology For the Win

Having your vehicle protected by nanotechnology-powered NanoCure Protective Coatings will result in a greatly reduced amount of time spent maintaining your vehicle’s appearance. Our  protectants helps make your vehicle safer, also, thanks to reduced glare and improved windshield visibility. More than topical retail waxes and water-based protectants, NanoCure with Nanoxide becomes one with both glass surfaces and a vehicle’s painted metal panels to ensure the greatest, strongest protection.
